NMRA WISE January 15, 2017 Beginners Meet

The WISE Division's January meet is Sunday, January 15, at the Midway Hotel & Suites in Brookfield. The meet is FREE, open to the public & tailored SPECIFICALLY towards beginners (though aren't we all in some aspect!?). There will be three 45-minute sessions of clinics as well as the usual popular vote model contest and home layouts on tour from 4-6 p.m. Many of the clinics will be orientated to those starting in the hobby of model railroading.

Due to a change in available space, there will be a limited number of swap tables. One table per person and please DO NOT arrive before 11:30 a.m.

Bring your models or photos to enter (entries accepted until 1:30 p.m.) for all categories. Note: this year there will be two rates for 1st Place and Best of Show winners: Non-NMRA members will receive a $10 certificate, while NMRA members will receive a $20 certificate.

Joe Russ presents a live demonstration on how to build basic
scenery for any scale model railroad using cheesecloth and plaster.
He will also explain the new WISE Diorama Contest.
